Learn how to make Easy and Tasty Rakhi Cake at home with Chef Bhumika on Rajshri Food.<br /><br />On this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan make this special cake for your loved ones and let us know in the comment section <br /><br />Ingredients:<br /><br />- 1 cup butter(unsalted)<br />- 1 cup Icing Sugar<br />- 1 tbsp Water(hot)<br />- Pre-made eggless sponge cake<br />- Color fondant<br /> <br />Method:<br /><br />1. Take 1 cup of butter and 1 Cup of Icing Sugar in a large bowl<br /><br />2. Stir well and then whisk it until the icing is pale and fluffy<br /><br />3. Now, add hot water to this icing and mix it (This will make icing smoother and creamy) and our Buttercream is ready<br /><br />4. Take a pre-made eggless sponge cake which is baked in a 6-inch mold <br /><br />5. Saw the upper layer of the sponge cake to make it flat and even <br />for icing <br /><br />6. Take a cake board with a little buttercream spread on top and place the sponge cake on it<br /><br />7. Put some buttercream on the sponge cake and spread it on the top and the sides evenly with an angled palette knife<br /><br />8. Remove the extra buttercream and place the cream in the fridge <br /><br />9. Now to make Rakhi, take ready-made colored fondant of <br />different colors of your choice<br /><br />10. Roll the fondant with a roller, and cut it in a flower shape of different sizes using a flower cutter (small and big) <br /><br />11. Now, to assemble the flower-shaped fondant, take the biggest flower with water applied in the center and place other small flowers on it accordingly (Keep some small flowers aside for decorating the cake)<br /><br />12. For strand of Rakhi, roll out fondant of two different colors in a thin snake shape<br /><br />13. Intertwine them both and seal the edges by pinching the tops<br /><br />14. Cut the strand into half<br /><br />15. Take the cake out of the fridge<br /><br />16. Place the rakhi in its center and arrange the strands on the sides<br /><br />17. Tap the rakhi and its strand, so that it sticks the buttercream<br /><br />18. Now, take the remaining small flowers kept aside and place it on the cake randomly.<br /><br />19. Take Sprinkles and stick it in the center of all the flowers on the cake <br /><br />20. Take more sprinklers and stick it to the bottom of the cake using a butter knife
